Girl Scout Leadership Experience: Community Outreach Program and Camp for Every Girl Initiative
The Girl Scout Leadership Experience: Community Outreach Program and Camp for Every Girl Initiative provides programs that engage more than 2,500 underserved girls in the Greater Cincinnati region, including Brown, Butler, Clermont, Hamilton, and Warren Counties. GSWO serves girls through pathways including in-school and afterschool programs in Title-1 schools, school break day camps, staff-led Girl Scout troops, virtual programs, and Girl Scout resident camp. As a result of their participation in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, girls in grades K-12 improve their academic success, gain critical interpersonal and social skills, and become girl leaders who give back to their communities.
