Student Service Program
The goal of the PWC Student Service Program, a component of the PWC Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP), is to engage youth in meaningful volunteer experiences that benefit both them and their community. During the program, approximately 200 youth will provide important home repair and yard maintenance services for 20 or more low-income households in the Greater Cincinnati area. By helping to keep PWC's clients safe, independent, and healthy in their homes, students build technical and interpersonal skills, form important relationships, gain exposure to urban and rural poverty, and most importantly, develop a commitment to service that will shape their lives for years to come.
