d2D #reLaunch.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati (BGCGC) has been serving local, at-risk youth for over 79 years, with a mission of enabling all young people, especially those most in need, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. By providing after-school and weekend programming across our ten club sites, BGCGC ensures that disadvantaged kids are growing and developing through its three program pillars - Graduate, Fit for Life, and Ready to Serve. The Diplomas to Degrees (d2D #reLaunch) program, a sub-chapter of the Graduate pillar, is a nationally developed framework that prepares disadvantaged young members for trade school, community college, or a four-year university. Supported by the Dater Foundation, d2D #reLaunch is closing the achievement gap by implementing hands-on workshops with a curriculum focused on pragmatic knowledge including: the application process, exploring financial aid, career exploration (with a focus on learning the components of a skilled trade), and workforce readiness.
