Back to School Program Valley Interfaith Community Resource Center partners with the community to provide necessary resources and build self-sustainability, with the vision of creating a sustainable tomorrow. A “Continuum of Care” model is used to provide services spanning all levels of intensity and need through three service areas: Emergency Resources, Crisis Intervention, and Sustainability. Main programs include a food pantry, clothing pantry, victim advocacy and prevention, case management, and Neighbors Empowered.  Throughout the year, several seasonal programs are offered during times when resources become increasingly strained.  In 2018, with support from the Dater Foundation grant, the Annual Back to School program served 1,074 school aged youth throughout Hamilton County, providing a new backpack filled with essential school supplies, a gift card for new shoes, and a new school uniform.  The Back to School program lessens the burden on families and ensures that all youth can start the school year set for success.
